These crispy on the outside and tender on the inside cookies are a healthier alternative to traditional cookies, making them great snacks for kids. They are made with coconut sugar, oats, and margarine, blended with a touch of nutmeg and raisins.
Preheat the oven to 180C (356F).
Beat together the margarine, coconut sugar, and maple syrup until a smooth paste.
Add the oats and mix until they are properly blended.
Add the flour and nutmeg, mixing thoroughly again.
 Stir in the raisins.
Make 8 small balls from the mixture and position them on a greased tray, patting down slightly.
Bake for 10 minutes until the edges of the cookies look golden.
After baking, allow the cookies to cool before transferring to a wire rack; they will firm up once cool.
